SERPENT'S RING

These items still carry whispers of a sly one eyed serpent king, who had a thing for rhyming, but also wished to fly. Before he died he did commission: Wings, a Ring, and a shiny golden Eye. The crafter asked of him a trade of "eye for eye" with promise that his sight would never lie. But, sadly then too blind to see that with no fingers, limbs, and now two missing eyes; he had all these rhymes and whims and saw through lies, but was easily stuck in the ribs, and left on the floor to die.
